Solomon Islanders
are predominantly Melanesian, and are 90% Christian. The Island's people
are friendly, shy and very grateful for help. Regional Assistance Mission
has restored order and Honiara is generally safe.
Problems:
There are a lack of basic services including sinks, water, scrub-brushes,
antiseptics, and drugs. There are a lack of support services including
Imaging and Pathology equipment, as well as stores & records.
